Siberian Tigers

Siberian Tigers are the biggest of all living cats. Weighing in at 800 pounds, the 10 foot long predator is at the top of the food chain wherever they live. These cats are know mostly for their beautiful coat and their ferociousness toward people. Well in fact, these cats can be quite peaceful.

With heavily muscle limbs and body the tiger can take down just about anything from a small elephant to another tiger. The tigers paws and back legs are very big so that they can jump onto their prey and dig their claws in with great force. The main source of food for tigers is large, hooved mammals, but they will eat anything they can catch. Where wild prey is scarce, tigers will readily prey on livestock if it is available. The male tigers are much bigger than the females and this is common with many species.

Hopefully people will stop hunting these animals and start saving them!
