Ring Tailed Lemurs

Lemur which means "ghost" in Madagascar fits their profile perfectly. These mysterious lookking animals are in fact, on the endangered list. These Lemurs which only populate southern Madagascar are found no where else in the world. For these black and white creatures that is a downside, for they are not doing so good population wise.

These 8 pound mammals are indeed very social and sometimes look for food in groups with up to 30 Lemurs. Now I've got to say it, these guys are very weird looking.In fact, all of the animals are weird looking on Madagascar. The Iguanas, Birds, Penguins, and Lizards are all very unique on this island. Now lemurs are endangered but they are on the uprise so good luck to them!
