Soriano and the Nationals

The MLB or Major League Baseball currently has 30 teams. Including, the Baltimore Orioles my favorite team of course. These 30 teams are divided up into two leagues in which the to leagues only play each other on certain circumstances. During the year American League and the National League play against each other only in the playoffs and Interleague play. The Washington Nationals are the newest team addition to the National League. This year they aquired Alfonso Soriano from the Texas Rangers. Soriano a one time second baseman has been transformed into a great Left-Fielder in which many teams have been interested in at the Trade Deadline. Alfonso, who has 32 homeruns this year is right up the with David Ortiz with 37 and Ryan Howard with 34. Alfonso's avervage is an average .289, but he is still the focal point of the Nationals. With a horrible record of 47-59, 12 games under .500. They have good players but they're still last in there division. What's up with that?
