Guns?

Me and my dad are thinking of getting a gun. Even though they are very dangerous if not handle properly we really need one for the pesky little varmits around our home. In fact, just last night one of my friends shot and killed a racoon with a .22. We don't just need it for racoons and squirrels, we also need it for protection from these dogs we have next door and BURGLARS! The dogs that we have next door are very dangerous. In fact, they are so dangerous that we arn't even allowed to go in my backyard any more! The dogs are seperated from us by a 4 foot fence I'm sure they could clear it with ease. The gun we are thinking of getting is a Crosman Air Rifle Model 764SB from amazon.com. It is affordable and easy to use. I in fact, have some expierience with guns which would help my family be safe. Just in case the dogs clear the fence we would be fully equiped with a good gun. The description of this gun states that it shoots pellets and bbs which is a plus, it is a Pump Rifle, and it shoots up to 625 feet per second! I really want this gun, so I just really want this gun. Guns are not just to kill things but also for protection. Frankly, we shouldn't live up here without a gun. It's just not safe.
