At&t Park

One of my favorite places that I've ever been is At&t Park. For all of you that haven't been there it is even better in person like most things except maybe a tiger. I've only been there once but I had a blast. I got to see 3 home runs and I got to see Barry Bonds play Left Field. I know most people don't like him very much and in fact, I don't like him very much either. But still telling my kids that i got to see Barry Bonds play in 20 years will hopefully give them somrthing to brag about to their little friends depending on how old they are. It will also give me bragging rights forat least a while.

Well anyway, At&t Park is a dream come true. I love everything in that park. It is perfect. In left field there is a giant coke bottle and a giant glove. I got to see them pretty well and I even got to touch them. Did you know that the giant coke bottle is actually a giant slide? You can actually pay to go down it. It was pretty cool. I've seen the glove and it almost looks real. I wish it was.

McCovey cove is also very cool. You can stand on the right field was and look out into San Fransico Bay. Every game, there is some idiot out in a cayac waiting for a home run ball. But I actually think that that is a very clever idea. Waiting for Barry Bonds to hit one deep may take a while but getting the ball is worth it. Saying that you have Barry Bonds' 745th home run would be something that I would remember for a long time. And just think, in fifty years that ball will be worth millions or maybe even billions of dollars! Hell, I would keep that ball until I died and then I would give it to my kid if he was responsible but if he wasn't I would give it to some homeless child who loved baseball. Back to the point standing or sitting on top of the right field wall is some experience! Looking out over the bay you might even see a seal or two. What an experience.

I personaly have never had the experience of sitting behind home plate at any baseball game for that manner. But I do bet it is amazing. Already in my lifetime I have caught 3 foul balls and 1 home run ball. The foul balls was from some no name and the big bat of Gary Sheffield. The home run ball was hit by Ruben Seirra another Yankee. Sittng behind home plate must be exciting but I would rather have the excitment running through my head saying stay alive and one might be hit towards you. Ah, it has happened obviously for I have a couple of souveniors But no line drives.

I normally sit on the third base line about eight rows back. I always have great seats cause my dad knows people from the Coke company. Maybe it was the Pepsi company? I don't know or care.

Well if you are ever in California go see a Giants game. Don't not see one because you don't like Barry Bonds. See one because I told you to. Have a great time at the ballpark. This is Scout signing off.
